Two founders. No W-2 employees. A network of the right people for each engagement. We built it this way on purpose.
Managing Partner
Russell is Firm Leverage's managing partner and the person most firms meet first—because someone has to carry institutional trust, plain language, and the business context of an engagement.
His background is legal-adjacent. In practice he keeps the work tethered to partner-level scrutiny and to how firms actually operate day to day, not only to what looked right in a session.
What drew him to AI in legal is the same thing that worries thoughtful buyers: expensive decisions are being made without anyone in the room who has actually built what firms are buying.
LinkedIn →Founder & Chief Architect
Joby has spent more than thirty years in semiconductor manufacturing, carrier-class retail & mobile phone ecosystems, insurance operations, and SVOD subscription billing. The common shape is novel, complex, high-value, high-impact, high-scale work on tight timelines.
He owns and runs things long enough to learn what's real—then builds to hand off: systems others can run and maintain, with the architecture and boundaries set so he's not a permanent dependency—by intent, not accident.
The question that drives the work isn't architectural theater. It's simpler: is this right?
sMost AI implementations fail because nobody with real accountability asked that before the first line of code.
At Firm Leverage we ask it first, design for an honest answer, and stay on the hook for delivery. When the work needs depth beyond what fits in-house, we bring in the right specialists. The accountability doesn't move.
Every engagement starts with a conversation about what's actually true about your situation. No pitch deck. No generic roadmap.
